Puppy Love

A short while ago, on a cloudy, rainy day, I drove out to take pictures of a little girl and her little dog, Lexi. What a bundle of energy! I don’t think I have ever had so much exercise during a session in my life!

Because of the rain, we first did a little mini session at home, where Lexi showed me how well she had been trained, and her incredible, monkey-like ability to climb on to EVERYTHING! She also had a very strange attraction to my camera, and thought it would be a tasty morsel! I had to discard many pictures of her which were blurred images of her charging my camera!

When the rain let up, we donned wellies and went off to the park for a good run. I must say, even after that, she was still full of energy. I have had a dog, but he was adopted as an adult, so he was already very calm and relaxed – kudos to those of you braving the puppy phase!!
