Mazes, Pigeons and Flowers

It was a bright sunny day when I met up with this gorgeous family for their family session. It was beginning to feel like proper spring and the birds were singing. We chose to have our session at the Arboretum in Lincoln. If you haven’t been it is totally worth a visit – but be prepared it is just one giant hill with lots of steps!

My favourite things about it there is the colourful bandstand, the duck pond with its little bridges, and the maze – it is pretty easy to navigate but super fun for kids!

We started off on the usual circuit, with a few posed family shots at first. Then it all started to degenerate (in a good way!) as we saw the pigeons, chased them, then decided to roll down the hill, try and climb a lion and jump in the flowers.

I can’t complain really, as that’s my jam as many of you know, so I felt pretty honoured to have been chosen to document this morning of fun in the sun (I had to, sorry!)
