Mummy & Me | An Outdoor Photo Session

Another wonderful outdoor session the other week – a beautiful mummy and her gorgeous boys! This was part of my Mummy & Me mini sessions that I hold every year just before Mother’s Day. It is so important to me, as a mother, and an avid photographer, that us mums actually step in front of the camera as often as possible. We are usually the invisible documentarians, standing behind the camera photographing the rest of the family, and this is why I created these mini sessions, so mums like Laura can step in front of the camera with their littles, and enjoy some quality time making memories!

In this session we got lucky as it had been raining in the morning! But it cleared up for us in the afternoon and the sun started peeking out between the clouds. We found a lovely little spot at Hanworth Country Park (which by now you know is one of my favourite places to shoot!) near one of their many ponds. Here, I risked my neck picking a cattail so the kids could blow on it. The cattail did not want to cooperate very much though and fuzz was everywhere! We also got to see some frog spawn which was super exciting!

It was a lovely exploring session, and of course I loved every minute of it, except maybe when I nearly fell into the water…
