Love, Bluebells, and Teddy Bears

I have another wonderful family session to share with you today!

These amazing people have never had family photographs taken before so it was a new experience for all of them, but I can truly say they handled it like pros! Not only did they wait patiently for the bluebells to come out of hiding, but they braved being nearly blown away by the “tornado” that came up on that Saturday! It had been lovely up until then, I swear! But wind and cold notwithstanding, they drove up to see me and bravely cuddled together with happy smiles, and maybe just a few tears. The love between them was so strong, and I really wanted to capture it for them. You could just see from the way they looked at each other, and even how the kids went to each other for comfort when they were getting tired – it was just so perfect.

We also had a special addition to the family session – a beloved Teddy who weathered out most of the session in the comfort of the car, but decided to come out and play and have his picture taken while showing some love.
