STORYTELLING FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY

life lived photography lincolnshire

We had a photo shoot with Elora a few weeks ago, she spent time understanding the type of photos I wanted and found the perfect place for it. She is such a lovely lady and immediately made my children, and myself feel at ease and we had such a fun time, the children loved it and were still talking about it days later. Elora had so many wonderful ideas to capture the children behaving naturally but also let them have some input into what shots they wanted The photos are perfect, exactly what I wanted and I am overjoyed with our final images, of which there were many. Thank you so much Elora, you are so talented and I genuinely couldn't be happier xxx - Rebecca

365 Project | April

April. A change from winter to spring. The days slowly flowing into each other, each one the same as the one before, yet different somehow. Lockdown is never ending. Rainbows are everywhere. I have felt myself drifting into a black hole of desperation, uselessness and guilt. I have completely failed as a homeschooling mother, the

Rediscovering your photographic self through creative techniques

This period isn’t easy for anyone. Professional photographers are struggling with the implications of being on lockdown and suddenly having to stop all work from one day to the next. Hobbyist photographers may be in a similar situation with jobs, children and household duties all being juggled in an unprecedented dance that is completely new

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins | Recipes

Lemon poppy seed muffins are one of my favourite kinds of muffin. I love the crunchiness and the pop of the poppy seeds. I recently made them for the kids, it was their first time having them and they were a huge hit! So much so that we finished them in a day, and then

365 Project | March

Well, what can I say about this month? This is the month lockdown started, this is the month I started my journey homeschooling, and honestly failed it miserably after the first week. The month we began looking at our health, our families and our relationships with new eyes, and new appreciation. The month that all

Making Fluffy Slime | At Home Activities

If you, like me, are trying your best to keep your little people entertained during this lock down, then here is something that should help!  I have previously banned slime in the house before because it was horrible to get out of the carpet, but we don’t have a carpet anymore so I allow it

Natural Studio Sessions

What is it like to have a studio session with Life Lived Photography? What should you expect? I know I am better known for my outdoor and in-home documentary work, but I do also offer studio sessions – these follow my normal style of capturing natural and fun imagery for you and your family! However

365 Project | February

February saw the continuation of my 365 project. I have to admit, this has been a tough month! I have struggled to find the light, to find nice things to photograph, and feel my days are pretty repetitive! BUT, I persevered, and here are a few of my favourites from this month!

You are loved!

“You are loved, not for what you look like, but for who you are.” – Gemma Griffiths   I know I have written more than once about the importance of parents being in pictures with their children, and I really don’t want to sound like a broken record with yet another post about making memories

365 Project | January

This year, I have decided to undertake a 365 project, well, 366 actually since it is a leap year! I have tried before in the past, but have sadly given up only just a few days in! This year however, so far all is good! I have a group of photographer friends keeping me accountable,

Being There

This morning, I took down the Christmas decorations. I always do on the first of the year. As I was making the effort of trying to squeeze all the lights back into their original boxes (why do they never fit?), I found myself reflecting on the year just past, and on some of my photographic
